Astro Bot is packed full of PlayStation cameos for players to uncover, but curiously its end credits reference a number of IPs not included in the game, suggesting they may be included as DLC. The credits thank a number of third party developers and publishers for allowing their characters to be featured in Astro Bot, with Ubisoft reference three times for Assassin’s Creed, Beyond Good & Evil, and Rayman. In addition, Croc and Worms are mentioned, along with Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin. However Astro Bot doesn’t currently feature any of these franchises as cameos in the game. However, a more likely case is that they are going to be implemented as DLC, as we know post-launch support is in the pipeline. Astro Bot is now available for the PS5, and currently ranks as the highest-rated standalone game of 2024 with a Metacritic of 94.
