Player First Games has staple-gunned a release date to MultiVersus Season 3, known as Sugar, Spice & Everything Nice, which kicks off on September 17, 2024 and will introduce The Powerpuff Girls. The popular animated trio will be joined by DC’s Nubia at a later date, but right now it’s all about the Powerpuff Girls — Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles. The girls are classed as an Assassin class, as demonstrated in the trailer below, and each one can take turns as leader to put their own unique spin on their repertoire.

In addition to the Powerpuff Girls joining MultiVersus in Season 3, players will be able to dive into a new ‘Destroyed’ version of the City of Townsville map, as well as the Midnight Showing map, which sees players battling against a backdrop inspired by 1984’s Gremlins.
