Dead Island 2 is the latest game to be confirmed as a PS5 Pro Enhanced title, meaning that it’ll take advantage of the PS5 Pro hardware upgrades when players who’ve purchased the mid-gen refresh boot up the zombie-killing extravaganza. Spotted by Zuby_Tech on Twitter, the “PS5 Pro Enhanced” tag is now listed on Dead Island 2’s store page on the PlayStation Store, though developer Dambuster Studios has yet to confirm what those ‘enhancements’ look like. The game just received a major update today with Patch 6, which included a new horde mode and a new game plus mode. The patch notes are unfortunately absent as to what features Dead Island 2 will have for PS5 Pro players, but with the Pro arriving next month, they’re surely around the corner. What we do know is that players who’ve already dived into the PS5 Pro with a pre-order ready for launch day will have one more game in a growing list of titles that’ll look and play better on their new console.
