For years, Netflix has tried to extend its dominance in the streaming realm to the gaming industry with interactive TV shows and movies, as well as actual video games. But following Netflix's closure of its AAA game studio, Team Blue, the streamer is also set to remove almost all of its interactive titles at the end of November.The Verge has confirmed that out of the 24 interactive shows and movies currently on Netflix, only four will still be available on December 1--Black Mirror: Bandersnatch, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: Kimmy vs. the Reverend, Ranveer vs. Wild with Bear Grylls, and You vs. Wild. Some of the departures include WWE's Escape the Undertaker, Triviaverse, and animated specials featuring Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, Boss Baby, and Carmen Sandiego."The [interactive] technology served its purpose, but is now limiting as we focus on technological efforts in other areas," said Netflix spokesperson Chrissy Kelleher in a statement to The Verge.Continue Reading at GameSpot
