Anime Vanguards Ethereal Trait Guide First let’s talk about what the trait does, then how to get the trait. Finally, let’s compare it to Mon What Does Ethereal Do? Ethereal gives a boost over multiple stats, making it useful for just about anyone other than Farm units.

• 20% damage boost.
• 20% reduction in seconds-per-attack (SPA).
• 5% larger range. (Okay not huge, but still nice to have.)

How Do You Get Ethereal? You can get Ethereal through trait rerolls, as with other traits. You try for new traits with the Mandra NPC in the lobby. There, you can select a unit and reroll its traits with an item, helpfully called a Trait Reroll. These crystals are available through Anime Vanguards codes, through the Pass, or through completing particular stages. You might need a few of them though, because Ethereal only appears at a 0.0175% chance. Is Ethereal Just A Worse Monarch? Ethereal is the Silver Medal of traits. It’s not quite on the level with Monarch in terms of pure DPS fury, but it’s still the best of the rest, and doesn’t come with Monarch’s one-placement limit. That means you can have multiple units on the field with Ethereal, while if you have Monarch, you can only have one. (RIP to anyone who rolled Monarch on Sprintwagon, you’re in our thoughts.)
