- Sail North from Sunstone Island, or North West from the Statue Of Sovereignty, to where you find a lone buoy out at sea. If you’re struggling, you can sail North from the statue, then turn North-West at a large rock spire to the North.
- The Advanced Diving Gear can be bought here for a hefty C$15,000. This isn’t essential, but can make a the trip less stressful.
- From the buoy, equip you diving gear, jump into the water, and swim straight down into the pit.
- At the bottom, swim over to a warning sign against the cave wall. From here, you can take one of two paths.
- The left-hand path leads through a very small, cramped passage. It’s such a squeeze you might think you’re at a dead end, but keep swimming. Eventually you will find yourself with space to surface, and come up into a small cave with the pool in the middle. Here your can restore you air meter, fish, and sell with the merchant. You’ll also find flippers for sale here.
- The right hand path is longer and more treacherous. It’s possible with Basic Diving Gear, but quite a nail-biting trip. The passage is very dark, winding, and full of sea mines that will wipe you out if you touch them. Eventually, you should be able to surface into the Desolate Pocket, which has a merchant and a place to buy the Tidebreaker and coral geodes.
